Q. If my employer does not withhold my local earned income tax, do I need to make quarterly estimates or can I file annually?
A. For the 2009 tax year, quarterly estimates will be accepted but no penalties will be levied for those who do not file quarterly. However, under Act 32, all must make quarterly payments and enforcement will begin for the 2010 tax year.
